What types of accounts can I open online?
- Currently, personal deposit accounts can be opened online with First Trade. Open a FT Checking, FT High-Yield Savings or a Certificate of Deposit (CD) online by visiting ftub.com/apply. Please note that you must be at least 18 years of age, and you must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. resident alien to open your account with us online.
How do I open an account online?

How do I enroll in Online Banking?
- - Personal banking clients can enroll by clicking the “Enroll Now” link below the Online Banking login window, or by clicking here. Follow the instructions provided to enroll your account(s) in Online Banking.
  - Business clients can enroll by contacting their relationship manager or calling Customer Service at 800.242.0272 Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM ET or via email at *customerservice@ftub.com.
How do I sign in to Online Banking?
- You will create an Online Banking Username, Password, and PassMark image. Log into your Online Banking account by entering your Username in the "Online Banking Login" sign in box located on the top of the homepage on the left-hand side. You will then be prompted to enter your Password and verify your PassMark image. After your Username and Password are verified, you will be taken to First Trade's secure Online Banking site.
Is Online Banking free?
- Yes! Online Banking is free for all First Trade customers.
How do I reset my Online Banking Username, Password or PassMark image?
- Contact our Customer Service Center at 800.242.0272 Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM ET or via email at *customerservice@ftub.com to reset your Online Banking Username, Password or PassMark image.
How do I pay bills online? Is it a free service?
- Our secure Bill Pay service is free for First Trade personal banking customers! Register for Bill Pay and begin the set up process by selecting the "Bill Pay" link in your Online Banking account. Follow the guided steps to begin paying your bills online.

How do I enroll in Mobile Banking?

Mobile Banking is available to all personal Online Banking users. If you are not already enrolled in Online Banking, you may do so here.

Download FT Mobile from your Android or iOS device's store, or by clicking the links below. You may also access Mobile Banking through your phone's web browser at mobile.ftub.com.

When prompted, simply log in using your personal Online Banking username and password. First-time enrollees will be required to answer a few challenge questions for authentication and to register your device.

Is First Trade a secure financial institution?

How do I know the Online Banking site is secure?
- First Trade has taken many steps to make sure you are protected online:
  - 128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SLL) technology. To access your accounts, you must use a browser that supports a 128-bit encryption.
  - Online Username, Password and PassMark image. Your sign on information is used for accessing your accounts online – never share them with anyone.
  - Firewalls. The computers that run our site are protected by firewalls, which are systems that prevent unauthorized access to our network. They are constantly monitored to prevent security breaches.
  - Timeouts. Your First Trade online session will automatically end, or "time out", if you do not perform any transactions for ten minutes. To resume your session, you will have to log back in to Online Banking.

Can I bank with First Trade by phone?

How do I report a lost, stolen or damaged First Trade Debit or ATM card?
- To report a Debit or ATM card as lost, stolen or damaged and to receive a new card, please contact our Customer Service Department during our normal business hours of 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM ET via:
  - Telephone at 800.242.0272
  - Secure email in the "Messaging" tab of your Online Banking account
- You can also process this request with a representative at one of our banking offices. Office hours of operation vary by location. Click here to find the banking office nearest you.
- Business, Union and Government Banking clients can also contact their relationship manager with any Debit or ATM card issues.
- If you need to report a card lost or stolen outside of normal business hours, please call 800.242.0272 and press "1" during the first set of prompts. Follow the instructions to process your request. Damaged cards should only be reported during normal business hours.
How quickly can I get Online Banking after my account has been activated?
- Personal banking clients may enroll in Online Banking once your account is open and active by clicking the “Enroll Now” link below the Online Banking login window on the top-left of most pages. Follow the instructions provided to enroll your account(s) in Online Banking. The process takes no longer than 10 minutes to complete.
How quickly will I receive my Debit or ATM card once my account has been activated?
- Once your account has been approved and your initial deposit has been processed, you will typically receive your Debit or ATM card 5 to 7 days after account activation.
How quickly will I receive my first order of checks for my Checking or Money Market Account once my account has been activated?
- Once your account has been approved and your initial deposit has been processed, you will typically receive your first orcer of checks 10 to 14 days after account activation.

What types of products and services do you offer?
- First Trade offers a full suite of financial products and services to our business, union and government clients. This includes deposit accounts (checking, savings and money market accounts, as well as CDs and CDARS® products), business loans, cash management services and other traditional and online services.
How do I open an account?
- To open a business account, please contact one of our business relationship managers.
- To open an account as a union organization, please contact one of our union relationship managers.
- To open an account as a government entity, please contact one of our government relationship managers.
How do I apply for a loan?
- To apply for a commercial loan, please contact one our business relationship managers. We will work with you to customize a loan program tailored to fit your specific financing needs.
Can I open an account online?
- No, you cannot open any type of business account online. Please contact us to speak directly with an expert.
Can I enroll in Online Banking?
- Yes, businesses, union organizations and government entities that are First Trade clients can enroll in Online Banking. This service is free of charge. When opening a new account, you can select this service while completing the application.

What products and services do you offer?
- First Trade offers a full suite of personal financial products and services. This includes deposit accounts (checking, savings and money market accounts, as well as CDs, CDARS® and IRAs products), advanced online and mobile banking services, and a wide array of other traditional banking services.
How do I apply for a personal loan?
- Contact us directly to learn more and apply for a personal loan.
What information do I need to have available when opening an account online?
- Please have the following information:
  - U.S. Social Security number
  - A valid form of identification including: Driver's license, State ID, Military ID or Passport
  - Previous home address (if you have lived at your current home address less than two years)
  - U.S. checking or savings account to fund your new account(s)
Can I make external transfers online?
- Yes. As a First Trade customer enrolled in Online Banking, you can make free internal and external transfers. This includes transferring money between your First Trade accounts, transferring money from your First Trade account to accounts at other financial institutions, and transferring money from accounts at other financial institutions into your first Trade account.
Do you open deposit accounts for out-of-state customers?
- Yes we do. First Trade is a federally chartered thrift and we can open personal deposit accounts for customers across the United States.
